A suicide bomber killed the Pakistan Army’s Surgeon General Lt-Gen Mushtaq Baig on February 25, 2008 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Seven others including one woman also died as a result of the blast.

Pakistan interior ministry spokesman Brig (retd) Javed Iqbal Cheema said that it was yet to be established which group was involved in the bomb attack but the involvement of an “external hand” could not be ruled out.

He said the attack seemed to be a part of the current spate of suicide bombings. “It is the same chain which has carried out attacks both on civilians and security personnel in the past.”

Regardless of the reason behind the suicide bomber’s extreme decision to kill himself, the basic question comes to the mind of every body that is such type of acts are supported by Islam or will this terrorist activity will take the bomber to the paradise?

Educating the Muslims can play a key role in reducing such highly condemable activities. It may also be a deterant against innocent illiterate young Muslims become the prey of the brain washing by so called “Aalams”.  If the suicide bomber had a chance to learn his religion, he would have known that he is not going to Paradise after death but to burn in Hell fire for killing 8 innocent soules.

Suicide bombers not only take the lives of innocent people as well as strengthen the hands of the enemies of the Muslims. Will any of the so called Mullah clarify how it is serving the Muslim Ummah?
