Muslims need to be chased “back to their caves.”

presidential election 2008Muslims need to be chased “back to their caves”, this is what was stated by a co-chairman for Rudy Giuliani’s veterans’ coalition in New Hampshire, John Deady, in an interview with a British newspaper the Guardian.

And as a swift result of the statement, Mr. Deady offered his resignation from his volunteer position in the campaign and it was accepted by Giuliani New Hampshire Chairman Wayne Semprini. In the original Guardian interview, Deady said Giuliani is the best candidate to handle “one of the most difficult problems in current history” — “the rise of the Muslims.”

He further added: “We need to keep the feet to the fire and keep pressing these people until we defeat or chase them back to their caves or, in other words, get rid of them.”

He then refused to distinguish between good and bad Muslims saying “I don’t subscribe to the principle that there are good Muslims and bad Muslims,” Deady said in the article. “They’re all Muslims.”

This is not first time any body has passed such remarks about Muslims and nor it will be. All Americans have the right of free speach and I beleive that Mr. Deady should not have to resign from his volunteer position on this kind of remarks.

However, Muslims living in USA has to decide one thing if they want to keep living in USA with dignity not to vote for any candidate who does not show any respect to their faith.  American Muslims have to show their strength in the form of political unity. They need to put all their political weight behind only those candidates who recognize Muslims as respectable American citizens and don’t distinguish between American citizens on the base of religion regardless of candidate’s political association.
